I am a retired professor of industrial engineering at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
My professional interests include systems engineering, data analytics, data acquisition, cloud computing and aircraft flight test engineering.
I've enjoyed more than 25 years of industrial and research experience including NASA (Ames & JPL), Air Force Test Pilot School, The Boeing Company, Systems Integrators, Inc., Ameridata, Festo and Frito-Lay, Inc. I've taught a wide variety of topics including systems engineering, mechanical design, manufacturing processes, industrial automation, systems simulation, manufacturing systems integration, flight test engineering and data analytics. I'm a father & spouse, perpetual learner, pilot, bicyclist, sailor and avid builder of many things just for fun.B.S. in industrial engineering at Cal Poly, 1990.
